Brad Blum
President
With over 19 years as a Life Science executive, and a proven track record of achieving strategic, financial, and operational goals in small-company environments across all stages of the product life cycle Brad drives the Xceed BioPharma team forward. He has built expertise in all aspects of commercial operations, strategic planning, business development, external collaborations, and organizational leadership. Brad helps set the tone at Xceed BioPharma as a hands-on, energetic, and collaborative leader who builds strong relationships and effective teams in entrepreneurial environments.
Katherine Roblin
Vice President - Talent Acquisition
Originally from the Detroit area, Katherine has worked in executive recruitment, client services, business development, marketing for private and public companies, and is the founder and president of the United Chase Group. A longtime Houston resident, she has dedicated her life to developing, nurturing, and counseling clinicians and administrators in healthcare, life sciences and beyond. Her warmth, ethics, ongoing personal and professional support, and a “can-do” attitude drives talent acquisition and recruiting for Xceed BioPharma.
Lionel Roblin
Vice President - Legal and Government Affairs
Lionel Roblin is a senior executive with over 25 years of international business and legal experience. He began his career with the top international law firm in France and continued with Fortune 500 companies in France, Belgium, the U.S., and South Africa in various business sectors such as Pharmaceuticals, Oil & Gas, Computers Manufacturing & Distribution, Software & Services, Data Centers, IT Engineering & Services, Telecommunications, Outsourcing, Defense, State & Local Government, Market Research and Consulting. Lionel graduated with a Juris Doctor Degree from the Sorbonne University in Paris and an LLM (Master of Laws) from the University of Miami School of Law in Coral Gables, FL. The extensive depth and breadth of his experience helps Xceed BioPharma successfully navigate complex legal and regulatory frameworks, while minimizing downside risk.
Jon Phillip Spiers, MD JD

Dr. Jon Spiers is Co-Founder and CEO of Velocity Bioscience. He is a principal at health law firm Spiers Group, as well as a mentor and medical legal consultant for biotech start-ups at theTexas Medical Center and medical venture capital group angelMD. As both a physician and a practicing attorney, Jon provides a unique perspective which shapes the decision making process at Xceed BioPharma, while his extensive network within and around the Texas Medical Center provides a framework for market penetration and the efficient surfacing of solutions.
